Since 1985 All Things Beautiful by Sami has had a passionate devotion to all facets of design.
In addition, to creating original fashions and accessories, costuming has also been a driving
force for motivation. The vision has continually been to become established as well as
respected as a uniquely creative designer. As a child the love of making dolls and their clothes
from bits of fabric scraps that were acquired from both grandmothers, who were accomplished
sewers quilters as well as gifted artisans, who would construct some of the most beautiful items.
They were then, and remain to this day, the inspiration that is reflected in the efforts given
the same attention to detail and artistry.
My knowledge and expertise extends to several areas of the fashion side of design including
custom clothing, dressmaking, tailoring, and interior decorating. My favourite eras of fashion
are Antebellum, the Roaring Twenties as well as the 1960’s and ‘70’s; I am inclined to incorporate these influences in my designs for garments and home decor. In addition to collaborating with
private clients, my experience includes wardrobe design, production, i.e., costuming, styling and
set design in theatre, film, TV commercials or print.
